Lifting our faith through Song

Jubal Ministries began as part of the Georgia Baptist Mission Board in 1954. The ministry includes both a men’s chorus known as the Sons of Jubal and a women’s chorus known as the Jubalheirs. It has expanded over the years to include auxiliary groups of brass, an orchestra, handbells, and auditioned ensembles. Incorporated as an independent non-profit organization, Jubal Ministries exists to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music and mission work, encouraging local churches, both large and small, in their praise and proclamation ministries.

In addition to supporting Baptist churches in Georgia, Jubal Ministries has touched thousands of lives worldwide with the message of hope in Christ and bringing tangible support of those in need through mission projects.

Voices banded together in faith

Jubal Ministries is comprised of two main groups, the Son’s of Jubal and Jubalheirs. Each group includes ministers of music and others who serve in music ministries of Georgia Baptist churches. Besides presenting a choral experience that leads people in worship, they also engage in local, state, national, and international mission projects. The choirs travel at their own expense but accept donations to help facilitate mission trips, concert logistics and provide musical scholarships.

The Sons of Jubal is a male chorus committed to worship enrichment and Gospel proclamation. The chorus presents a series of concerts in Georgia Baptist churches and community venues each year. The concert program includes a variety of music that glorifies God. In addition, the group participates in mission endeavors throughout the state, nation, and world.

The Jubalheirs is a female chorus founded in 1973. They have presented concerts throughout the United States and abroad. Through their ministry, the Jubalheirs have helped launch new churches, facilitated medical and dental clinics, and led training events, all the while presenting the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. In addition, they have provided many scholarships for children and youth to attend music camps each summer. The Jubalheirs present concerts throughout the year and strive to strengthen music ministries in Georgia Baptist churches.
